Video: The United states prepare for Bosnia-Herzegovina test
USA and Bosnia-Herzegovina trained and spoke on Tuesday (13th August) ahead of their friendly match in Sarajevo on Wednesday (14th August).
The United States had a chance to train at the stadium on Tuesday, where they will take on Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The USA haven’t included experienced duo Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan in their 23-man squad, but they do have the likes of Roma’s Michael Bradley and Sunderland‘s Jozy Altidore.
USA Goalkeeper Brad Guzan and manager Juergen Klinsmann know how tough the game will be.
Brad Guzan, USA goalkeeper:
“We know it is going to be a hard game, they are a very good team with very good players, so it is going to be a very hard, physical game. A game that we are going to be ready for.”
Juergen Klinsmann, USA manager:
“I mean for both teams, Bosnia is doing really well in the World Cup qualifying and things should go hopefully in the right way, that we see them, you know, in Brazil and we are looking good right now too. But both teams still have to finish it off and it helps both teams, this game, you know, to get in a rhythm to get going, be prepared for September, for the real games.”
Bosnia are in the driving seat in their qualifying group for the World Cup, they are unbeaten in their six matches and sit top of Group G, three points ahead of second-placed Greece.
