Manchester United were handed a 2-1 defeat by Swansea

Manchester United’s hopes of returning to Europe’s premier competition, the Champions League took a huge knock following defeat to Swansea at the weekend.

Despite taking the lead at the Liberty through Ander Herrera, Swansea fought back to take all 3 points and seeing United drop to 4th place as Arsenal overtook us.

To compound matters, Liverpool were fortunate to beat Southampton the following day to increase the pressure on us, gaining 8 points since Boxing Day to leave the gap at a paltry 2.

With a tough spell of games to come, United’s push for the Champions League looks in jeopardy so our host Nathon discusses the weekend’s action:
