Zlatan earns Rs. 28 lakh a day!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish super star who moved from AC Milan to Paris St. Germain last summer, reportedly earns a whopping €14 million in salary every year.

And that €14 million is after tax!

With France imposing a 75% tax on high earners, his before tax salary could be upwards of €20 million.

That translates to exactly €38,356 everyday or in Indian rupees, 28 lacs a day!

PSG can certainly afford his salary as they are now owned by Qatari Investment Authority.

Zlatan has defended his high wages, claiming in an interview with Eurosport,

“Quality is not free…. I don’t understand all the criticism. After all, the more money I earn, the more tax France receives.”

Politicians in France claim to be disgusted by the high salary he receives, with France’s budget minister Jerôme Cahuzac saying in an interview with Europe1 radio,

“These wages disgust me…At a time when everyone around the world is tightening their belts, these figures are not impressive, they are indecent.

“Sport is not about paying a player €15 million a year,” he added.
