Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels it's too late to move to Premier League

The Swede was at his destructive best as he led his country into next summer’s Euros

Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dismissed speculations linking him with a move to the Premier League in the summer. He has revealed that it was ‘too late’ for him to make a move to England at this point in his career reports Eurosport.

Ibrahimovic, who currently plies his trade in France for Paris Saint-Germain, is in the last year of his current contract with the French champions and there were rumours about a possible move to the Premier League.

The Swede has played in almost all the major European leagues barring England in an impeccable career thus far. He has represented top clubs such Ajax, Barcelona, Inter Milan and AC Milan before making the switch to Paris.

"I think it is too late to come to England. I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards,"

He also revealed that he was undecided on where and when he would hang his boots.

"I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to enjoy it and do my thing."

"I do not know where I will finish my career. Let us wait and see," he told reporters.

Probably my last tournament with national team: Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovic almost single-handedly guided Sweden into the Euro 2016 championship with a 4-3 aggregate win over Scandinavian rivals Denmark. The towering striker scored three of his side’s four goals which included a sumptuous free kick in the second leg of the playoff in Denmark.

At 34 years of age, it looks like next summer’s Euros in France might be the last major tournament Ibra would be a part off. And the player himself was excited with the way his side silenced their doubters against Denmark and also the prospect of playing in Europe’s biggest tournament involving nations next year.

"It will be magic. It will be big magic for me to be there," Ibrahimovic said.

"It is probably going to be my last tournament with the national team and I am very excited because before these two play-off games there was all this kind of talk that we were not able to beat Denmark.”

"Now we are very happy and I am satisfied. I let my feet talk. I don't talk in public," he said.
