Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be announced as a Manchester United player on Tuesday

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to announce where he will play football next season on Tuesday, June 7th. The maverick Swedish striker has long been linked with a move to Manchester united and the striker himself confirmed that he will reveal his future on 7th.

"There will be a big announcement on the 7th. It will be this summer's big bomb," he told Swedish television.

Swedish national team coach had already confirmed that Zlatan would be allowed to leave the Sweden training camp when the time was right. Boss Erik Hamren said: "We have days off. We plan our activities and the players can act based on that. I'm not going to speculate about such things."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently a free agent after he chose to not renew his contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain and ever since then it has been reported that the charismatic Swedish striker was close to joining the Premier League giants.

Jose Mourinho who coached Ibrahimovic Inter Milan is keen to complete the move as quickly as possible and announce Zlatan as a Manchester United player before the Euros get underway in France.

Manchester United could sell Bastian Schweinsteiger this summer – reports

Manchester United are reportedly considering to axe Bastian Schweinsteiger from their squad after only a single season, report the Mirror. The 31-year-old has missed a major chunk of the season through injury and is now an expendable to new boss, Jose Mourinho.

Having joined from Bayern Munich for around €9 million last summer, Schweinsteiger was seen as a successor to the aging English maestro, Michael Carrick. Even though he's made over 31 appearances for the Red Devils this season, only half of those were in the Premier League where he scored just one goal and set up another.

For a FIFA World Cup winner, those numbers reflect poorly on him and his season with the club, and this is possibly why Jose Mourinho is ready to ship him elsewhere to ensure he can bring in the kind of combative passing midfielder he likes to employ.

Manchester United are said to be interested in signing multiple players this season with Eric Bailly their latest target. The Villareal centre-back has been an invaluable asset for the Yellow Submarine but valued at €40 million, Manchester United might think twice before making a move
