Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is finally here. After a climactic end to the previous chapter, it's almost a brand new game. There are fresh mechanics, characters, weapons, and an entirely new island. One thing has absolutely remained the same, though: winning is the best part.

Whether it's with a Victory Crown or not, winning a match is the best feeling in the game. It doesn't matter if it's with a dominant elimination performance or sheer luck, when the words Victory Royale pop up on-screen, it's met with incredible joy. When death comes, it's met with immeasurable disappointment.

There are a lot of different ways to win, and this article will talk about a few of the easiest ones.

Top 4 simplest methods to beat your opponents in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

Please note that nothing can guarantee a victory. There are ways to set up a good performance and elongate a match, but nothing can ensure a win. The methods listed in this article will, similarly, only enhance your chances of achieving a Victory Royale.

4) Landing at the right spots

Landing at the right spots is key to a victory. Starting things off from a hot spot is often not good for victory chances for a couple of reasons.

For starters, there's usually a lot of traffic, which means more opportunities for someone to get eliminated. Additionally, the dense crowd traffic means more competition for loot. It's harder to get a good loadout when everyone else is there trying to do the same.

The spots are all pretty new so they're all pretty popular. Once the novelty wears off, the true hot spots will reveal themselves. Avoiding them can easily set up higher chances of a victory down the road.

3) Getting better loot

This is easier said than done as loot is often very random. However, certain things can help. Finding Geno and eliminating him offers the chance to pick up the Ex-Caliber Rifle, arguably the best weapon in Fortnite Chapter 4 thus far. Additionally, Dial-A-Drops are great for getting loot.

While they do have the option to drop vehicles or medical supplies, using them exclusively for weapons can produce a strong loadout, which can be a huge difference maker.

2) Using Augments

Right now, Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 are almost broken. Some of them have incredible perks that make victory that much more attainable. One of them is called Bush Warrior and it's pretty overpowered.

It allows players hiding in large foliage to gain health and partial shields. Combine that with other heals like Med Mist, medkits, bandages, and more, and victory through healing seems incredibly likely this season.

Getting this or any other Fortnite perk will require a bit of RNG luck, but it can be incredibly useful.

1) Stay away from conflict

The easiest way to set oneself up for a victory is to simply avoid the chance to get eliminated. Fortnite makes no distinction between a 20-elimination win and a win in which the only kill was the final one. They all count the same.

Fighting players over and over again only gives someone more chances to die themselves. That's a fun way to play the game, but it's probably not the best when you're tying to net a win.

There are a lot of methods through which one can do this. Fortnite players can hide in bushes and other places and simply relocate when the circle forces them to. They can also move from spot to spot to ensure they're not taken by surprise.

One thing is common, though. Whenever an enemy is spotted, turn the other way. Unless a conflict is inevitable, avoiding it might get you a very high placement.
