Fortnite augments are a game-changing feature released in Chapter 4, Season 1. With this feature, Epic Games has created a class system in the popular video game, allowing players to pick their perks and customize how they play.

At the moment, there are 22 augments available in the game, and players can pick four of them during a single match. Epic is working on adding more of them in the future, as 11 new augments were leaked a while ago.

This article will list five of the worst and best augments in Chapter 4, Season 1. The list is based on community votes found on the fortnite.gg website.

Every single augment useful. However, many augments are also situational, so many players refuse to pick them.

Here are the five worst Fortnite augments at the moment:

5) Party Time

The Party Time augment great for mobility and is perfect when combined with the Shockwave Hammer. Unfortunately, players do not have complete control over balloons, which is why this augment is often annoying.

With a score of 51.03, this is the fifth-worst augment in Chapter 4, Season 1. The score indicates the percentage of players who gave a positive rating to the perk.

4) Mechanical Archer

The Mechanical Archer perk grants players two bows, the Shockwave and Explosive Bow. The Shockwave Bow is fantastic for mobility and damage, while the Explosive Bow is one of the most lethal weapons in the video game.

Unfortunately, the Fortnite community is not a big fan of bows. This perk scored 50.49, which is surprising considering how unique these weapons are.

3) Bow Specialist

This perk is a must-have for anyone who uses bows (Image via Epic Games)

Four types of bows are currently available in Fortnite Battle Royale, but players don't like them. Despite their effectiveness, most players pick other long-range weapons, such as the DMR or the Ex-Caliber Rifle.

The Bow Specialist perk is a must-have for anyone who uses bows. Not only does it allow players to regenerate arrows over time, but it also makes drawing and reloading bows much faster.

Considering this is the third-worst augment in Chapter 4, Season 1, it's safe to say that bows are not very popular in Fortnite. The augment has a score of 47.67.

2) Jelly Angler

Jelly Angler is the most situational augment in Fortnite Battle Royale. It grants players a Fishing Rod that they can use to fish anywhere. However, they can only fish up the Jellyfish.

While this fish is beneficial as it works like a Chug Splash, the truth is that many players don't need it. Due to this, the augment has been rated very poorly, and its current score is 34.69.

1) Demolitions Munitions

The Demolitions Munitions perk affects destroyed objects. Whenever players destroy objects, there is a chance that they will drop explosives. Unfortunately, the perk excludes player-built structures and is also very situational.

Players rarely pick this Reality Augment, which is why it's not surprising that its score is only 20.91. Considering that the perk is ranked far behind every other perk in the game, there is a good chance that Epic Games will buff it soon.

While the Fortnite community may not be a big fan of the augments listed above, many players frequently use a couple of other perks. All of the best perks in the game have a score of at least 80.

Here are the five best augments in the game at the moment:

5) Tactical Armory

Thanks to the Tactical Armory augment, Fortnite players can obtain the Combat Shotgun and Tactical Assault Rifle in Chapter 4, Season 1. These weapons were first introduced in Season 9, and players have loved them.

With a score of 84.42, Tactical Armory is the fifth-best perk currently available in the popular video game.

4) Bush Warrior

Bush camping has always been an excellent strategy for getting Victory Royales. In Chapter 4, this strategy is even more effective thanks to the Bush Warrior Reality Augment.

This perk allows players to regenerate their health and shields inside a bush, which makes it a must-have for anyone who loves camping. Players can restore maximum health and up to 50 Shields.

With a score of 87.57, the Bush Warrior augment is the fourth-best augment in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1.

3) Storm Mark

Whenever the storm circle closes in, the Storm Mark augment pings the area and highlights nearby enemies. Due to this, the augment is very useful at every stage of the game, especially in the final circles.

Storm Mark currently has a score of 89.51, which is not surprising considering its usefulness.

2) Forecast

Paying attention to the Storm is key to winning games in Fortnite Battle Royale. Fortunately, the Forecast augment reveals the next storm circle, which allows players to plan their movement.

This is a must-have perk for at least one player in a Trio or Squad. With a score of 90.59, Forecast is the second-best augment in the current season of Fortnite.

1) Aerialist

The Aerialist augment allows Fortnite players to redeploy their gliders whenever they fall, which makes it perfect for mobility. Additionally, this perk also makes players immune to fall damage, another great benefit.

With a score of 92.27, Aerialist is currently the best Fortnite augment. Considering it's been at the top since the new season came out, we expect it to stay there for a long time.
