Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has brought Ice Machines back. Epic Games has made many changes with the new season of the popular game, but these containers have stayed unchanged.

Ice Machines are also called Coolers and provide players with several valuable items. These containers contain fish, which can be very useful for restoring health. Players may also receive other healing items from them, such as Chug Splash.

Ice Machines can be found in each biome in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

With the first patch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, around 30 Ice Machines are located on the island. They can be found in each biome and are mostly located at gas stations.

It's important to note that Ice Machines do not have a 100% spawn rate. Some will not spawn in every match, so you should not rely on them for healing.

While these containers grant several useful items, they should be considered a secondary healing option. You should still carry at least one healing item to recover your health or shield.

As you can see in the image above, there are many Ice Machines in almost every part of the map; however, the medieval (fall) biome has only one machine located at Anvil Square. All the others have at least four.

Epic Games may add more with a future Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 update or remove some; however, considering that these containers are not very important, they will most likely stay in the game until the end of the season.

These Fortnite containers mostly contain three fish. Their loot is completely random, meaning they can drop three Small Fries at once, while they will grant a Flopper and a Slurpfish another time. Furthermore, it is also possible to get Chug Splashes from these containers.

In terms of their functionality, Ice Machines are very similar to Produce Boxes. While they are not very useful in most situations, getting valuable items from them, such as Slurpfish, can completely change the fight.
