Every new Fortnite skin leaked with the v22.40 update

The v22.40 update to Fortnite was released today. As a result, a ton of new things were added to the game. The Octane vehicle from Rocket League is now available, as well as several quests pertaining to it. Slight map changes and updates to the gameplay, including a bug fix, were released as well.

As a result of the latest update, game files for upcoming and unreleased items were uncovered. This is not uncommon as Epic Games often puts future skins and other items into the game ahead of the official release.

Several skins were leaked because of this. Leakers uncovered tons of cosmetics that Epic seems intent on adding to the game in the near future. Here's what they discovered.

Fortnite leaked skins revealed in v22.40 update

There were quite a few cosmetics leaked in the update, which is supposed to be the final major one to Chapter 3 Season 4 as Chapter 4 Season 1 is scheduled to arrive in less than a month.

The first skin leaked is called "Camille" and it has two different styles. The cosmetic was seen with several others, including a back bling, a loading screen, a weapon wrap, and more.

As for the two styles, one of them is human and the other is a rodent. The skin will likely have alternate styles, but will not change into one or the other in-game via an emote or something reactive.

Additionally, leakers uncovered a potential PlayStation set. In it, there is a skin, a back bling, and a harvesting tool, and these seem to be related to martial arts.

HYPEX also found two other unreleased skins, with the first named Colby and the second named Mina Park. These are both female and one appears to be a gamer of some kind. They are reportedly going to be in the Save the World pack and the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Start pack, respectively.

Leakers discovered a new Aura skin alongside what may be a male version of her. They have similar attire and the related cosmetics seem to work for both of them.

There have been plenty of soccer skins in the game over the years. Thanks to the v22.40 update, Fortnite players now know that more are on the way. All told, there are nine new soccer skins presumably coming to the game, and are expected to be very popular.

Additionally, leakers have uncovered a new background for the Item Shop that indicates more soccer skins are on the way.

There are also quite a few cosmetics that will eventually be released alongside these skins. There may even be a free back bling related to the season-and-chapter-ending live event.

There are quite a few exciting skins that players know about thanks to the latest update. However, these are leaks, and while they come from reputable Fortnite leakers like HYPEX and ShiinaBR, information of this kind is not reliable in nature.

Until they arrive in the Item Shop or Battle Pass, or Epic Games confirms their existence, this information has to be treated as speculative.
