The release date of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has the community turning heads, and not in a good way. After planning to cut the current season two days early, Epic Games then seemingly changed both its mind and the date.

Rather than the current season ending on March 8, 2023, as was stipulated in the official announcement, it's unclear when it might conclude. To make matters worse, after Epic clarified that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 would run for the entire duration of March 9, 2023, it still didn't mention an end time. Given that players from around the world play the game, there's a huge time difference between certain regions. For instance, Eastern Time Zone and Indian Standard Time are quite far apart.

To elaborate, when the downtime usually occurs, they do so at 4:00 am ET in the wee hours of the morning. For players in India, that is only 2:30 pm IST in the afternoon. This vast gap in time can cause one time zone to be a day ahead or behind the other.
