Fortnite: How to emote at Grim Gables

The latest Fortnite challenge tasks players with performing an emote at Grim Gables. This challenge was released as part of the Week 9 challenges, and by completing this one, you will earn 20,000 XP.

This week, there are nine new challenges available in Epic Games' popular battle royale title. The developers have released seven challenges immediately, while two of them are used as replacements. In total, you can earn 140,000 XP by completing the latest set of challenges, which is equal to nearly two Battle Pass levels.

A few weeks ago, Grim Gables was the most popular spot in Fortnite. This is where Epic Games released the Inkquisitor, a new Mythic boss, for the Halloween event. At the time, surviving in the Grim Gables named location required skill, but that's not the case anymore. Ever since the Fortnitemares 2022 event ended, this location hasn't been very popular, despite offering great loot.

In Week 9, you will have to emote at Grim Gables for the latest Fortnite challenge. Here are all the other challenges:

• Glide 250 meters with the Grapple Glider in one shot
• Drive a vehicle into a Chrome Vortex and fly around it for 10 seconds
• Hunt a glowing loot animal
• Damage opponents with a suppressed submachine gun
• Loot a Legendary weapon from an eliminated player
• Use the Dial-A-Drop to call in a vehicle
• Dance outside of Bao Bros' bunker
• Deal damage to opponents with a Pistol

1) Land at Grim Gables

In order to emote at Grim Gables, you will have to visit the location first. The easiest and fastest way to complete this challenge is by simply landing at this named location.

Although this location is not as popular as it was during the Halloween event, Grim Gables still has plenty of loot. The house alone has 11 chests, while the area around it features about 20 more chests, making it a great landing spot.

By landing at Grim Gables, you can complete the challenge in just a few seconds and find amazing loot immediately after.

2) Emote in the area

To complete this challenge, you simply need to press the emote button and choose any emote from your locker. By default, you can press the down key on the D-pad to bring up the emote wheel or the 'B' key on the keyboard.

As soon as you start emoting, the challenge will be considered as complete and you will receive 20,000 XP.

The best way to do this is by emoting on the roof of the house. If there are any enemies nearby, they will not be able to prevent you from completing this challenge. Furthermore, you can open a few chests on the roof as well, which will give you a head start in terms of loot as well as the high ground advantage.
