According to leakers, Fortnite update v23.10 is set to go live on December 13, 2022. While Epic Games is yet to reveal the upcoming content for the update, thanks to leaks, there's enough to come to a conclusion about certain things.

During downtime, players can expect to see Winterfest 2022 leaks, alongside items and cosmetics for the My Hero Academia collaboration. Perhaps a sneak peek of the MrBeast skin will also be on the cards. With that said, here's the expected content to come into the game during the Fortnite update v23.10.

Fortnite update v23.10 early patch notes: New content and changes

1) Fortnite Winterfest 2022 - Skins/cosmetics, Crackshot's Cabin returns, and free gifts

Fortnite Winterfest 2022 will be a highlight for the month of December. Players can expect to see some map changes and snow covering more POIs on the island. Crackshot's Cabin will also be added back in again for the occasion.

Sgt. Winters and his Holiday Big Rig will be brought back. Although he's rather sour and grouchy, it wouldn't be winter in Fortnite without him. In addition to NPCs and landmarks, free gifts will also be given out to all players during the winter event.

For those who want to stock up on wintry-theme cosmetics, new skins such as Winter Wonder Skye will start to appear in the item shop each passing day. Some OG skins from past chapters will also be present until the end of the month.

2) My Hero Academia collaboration - Skins and Mythic item

Teasers for My Hero Academia have been popping up all over the internet in the last few days. Spotted by numerous fans, out-of-home advertising for the anime can also be seen on subways and digital billboards across various parts of Japan. It goes without saying that this collaboration is being done on a large scale.

Since the collaboration goes live on December 16, it's very likely that leakers will be able to showcase the cosmetics during downtime. While Deku and All Might will likely be featured as skins, there's a possibility that other characters may be added in as well.

In addition to cosmetics, Deku's Detroit Smash attack will also be featured as a brand-new Mythic item in-game. As seen in the video, players will be able to destroy structures and blast buildings apart.

3) New Crew skin

Joni The Red created quite a buzz within the community. Released towards the tail end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, players were more than happy to buy this Crew skin. As stated by the developers, the skin is the first in the series.

Much like Midas' First Shadows, Joni The Red was the first member of the High Stakes Club. During tomorrow's update, there's a small chance that players will get to see the upcoming Crew skin and the second member of this enigmatic club in-game.

4) End-of-year event and cosmetics

With 2022 coming to an end, Epic Games will no doubt want to celebrate the metaverse and the moments that made the year memorable. In all probability, they may add in mini-evens for players to partake in throughout the month of December and perhaps the first week of January.

Additionally, cosmetics from collaborations that have occurred throughout the year will likely be showcased on and off in the item shop. Given that it's the festive season, a lot of players will be looking forward to buying themed skins to use in-game.

5) Week Two challenges and storyline progression

After an entertaining first week of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, it's time to turn the page to the next phase of this segment of the storyline. For week two, players can expect to see more challenges added to the game for them to complete.

Unlike previous weekly challenges, players will likely only have seven days in hand to complete them once they go live. Considering that most are easy enough to complete in the span of a single match, blazing through them will not take long.

In addition to the challenges, there may be some minor storyline advancements taking place. They may be showcased via map changes and other clues left about by Epic Games.

6) MrBeast collaboration

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, collaborated with Fortnite for the FNCS Invitational 2022. A giant MrBeast Burger was spotted at the event and created a lot of hype and speculation. Sadly, once the event ended, things went back to normal, and the hype died out.

However, once Zero Fusion was nearly complete during the Chapter 3 Season 4 live event, MrBeast could be seen being dragged by his feet through space. Although it was only visible for a split second, it confirmed a collaboration.

With the v23.10 update scheduled for tomorrow, the set containing his encrypted cosmetics may be leaked during the downtime. That said, it's unlikely that it will be added to the item shop during the next rotation. Furthermore, given his eccentric nature, it may just so happen that players will get the MrBeast skin for free as a Fortnite Winterfest 2022 gift.
