The Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has become an instant hit. The melee Katana weapon fits perfectly into the Japanese cyberpunk theme chosen for this season. Clearly, everyone playing the battle royale game needs to try the Japanese blade out.

Fortunately, one of the Week 0 quests made it even more rewarding to use the Kinetic Blade. Players simply need to knock back an enemy using the Katana, and they end up earning 15,000 XP as a reward. Clearly, this is one of the simplest quests this week, and one that players will certainly enjoy completing.

The Katana is available all around the island as a random loot drop. If players get lucky, they can land on a Kinetic Blade right away. However, if they cannot find a Katana lying around, they can always head to the brand-new Mega biome to find the popular blade.

There are several Kinetic Blade stands in and around the location and Kenjutsu Crossing houses many of these blades. Players can find them near the Japanese Pagodas or even inside buildings, where they are hung up on the walls.

The Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 comes with two very strong attacks. Players can use the right mouse button or their console bind for the Dash Attack. It launches them into the air and helps them land a lethal blow if they lock into an enemy. The Dash Attack only has three charges and enters into a cooldown after use.

In order to complete the Week 0 Quest, players need to use the Knockback Slash. This is the primary attack for the Kinetic Blade, and they need to press the left mouse button to use it. Using it repetitively can not only damage the enemy but also knock them back.

The Week 0 Quest requires players to knock three enemies back with the Kinetic Blade. After successfully striking three opponents with the Knockback Slash, they will earn 15,000 XP for completing the quest. The best way to complete this challenge would be by landing at Kenjutsu Crossing and fighting other players looking for Katanas.

The all-new season also features several new weapons like the Havoc Shotgun and the Overclocked Pulse Rifle. So far, it feels balanced in terms of the arsenal it has to offer.

The Heavy Sniper Rifle and the Pulse Rifle are perfect for long-range battles. On the other hand, the Havoc and Combat Shotguns are just what you need for close-range fights.
