The new island looks incredible and will be great for all game modes, including Zero Build. The trailer also focuses on all the new skins that have come with the latest update.

Epic Games has released Deku from the popular manga and anime series "My Hero Academia" with the new Fortnite season. The character was leaked in the launch trailer and was seen using a special ability.

In addition to this character, Epic has added video game characters Doom Slayer (from Doom) and Geralt of Rivia (from The Witcher). Both will have the Gaming Legends rarity and will be unlockable with the new Battle Pass.

2) Shockwave Hammer

The new chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale has added many new weapons to the popular video game. However, the shockwave hammer seems to be one of the deadliest weapons.

As the video above shows, the hammer can be used to destroy builds and damage enemies. In addition, players can use it to move quickly over the island as it gives them a shockwave effect.

3) New weapons

Fortnite players will have a lot of new weapons at their disposal in the new chapter. The Ex-Caliber Rifle fires a ballistic blade at enemies that detonates shortly after, while the Thunder Shotgun is a close-range weapon that fires two shells at a time.

The Maven Auto Shotgun is similar to the Tactical Shotgun as it's a semi-automatic and fast-firing weapon. The Twin Mag SMG is another close-quarter weapon, and as its name indicates, it has extended magazines for longer action.

The new assault rifle comes with a red dot sight, while Epic has also released a new variant of a sidearm pistol.

4) New map looks fantastic

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 comes with a brand new map. The map has several different biomes, and some of the locations look similar to Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 spots.

Here are all the major named places on the map:

  • The Citadel
  • Anvil Square
  • Shattered Slabs
  • Frenzy Fields
  • Breakwater Bay
  • Slappy Shores
  • Faulty Splits
  • Lonely Labs
  • Brutal Bastion

It's important to note that the map will look much better thanks to Unreal Engine 5.1. This upgrade brings improved lighting and much better rendering.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has finally added motorbikes. This vehicle was leaked a couple of months ago, and as soon as Epic Games announced Chapter 4, many players correctly assumed it would come with it.

Epic has added several new consumables, including Slap Berries and Slap Juice for effective health and Sky Jellies for health and mobility.

6) Reality Augments

Reality Augments are Fortnite perks that will be given to players throughout the match. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 players may remember the perks that were used during the Spy Games limited-time game mode.

Here are some of the Reality Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1:

  • Light Fingers - Makes your weapons using Light Ammo reload faster
  • Mechanical Archer - Gives you a Mechanical Explosive Blow & Mechanical Shockwave Bow
  • Aerialist - Grants you Glider redeploy for the rest of the match
  • Supercharged - Your vehicles won't consume fuel and they’ll have increased Health
  • Soaring Sprints - While sprinting, you’ll be able to jump much higher — and jump with lower gravity

Players may re-roll these perks if they don't like them. Additionally, it is possible to combine them and get amazing benefits.
