This information was exclusively shared by veteran leaker @ShiinaBR, and re-shared by @HYPEX on social media platform X. Given their track record, this leak is all but a confirmation rather than hearsay.

Fortnite Chapter 6 leak hints at a biome for Demon Slayer collaboration

We do not have any details about what the Purple Forest Biome could be for, but we may have some idea based on other recent leaks. Considering there may be an upcoming Fortnite collaboration with Demon Slayer, this biome could be part of the crossover.

As pointed out by several users under ShiinaBR's post, the flowering trees in Demon Slayer resemble wisteria. These flowers are native to Japan and can be seen in other video games, such as Ghost Of Tsushima. Since their color is purple/violet, they could be featured in the upcoming Purple Forest Biome.

Keep in mind that the Fortnite Chapter 6 leak does not explicitly mention this, but it is the most logical direction that Epic Games could take.

It is unclear if the Purple Forest Biome will be exclusive to the collaboration or remain until the end of Chapter 6. Since some regions on maps tend to be time-bound, this could be the scenario for this biome.

What could the Purple Forest Biome look like?

Taking a few notes from Demon Slayer, the Purple Forest Biome could be illuminated and might glow during the in-game night cycle. It could very well be the same biome that was leaked a while ago and was slated to have unique mechanics embedded into it.

That said, we have seen a Purple Forest Biome in the past during Chapter 3. If Epic Games decides to do something similar, it could look something like this:

Of course, the biome will get overhauled to be more attuned to the Japanese Mythology and Samurai theme that will be in play, but it could look a lot like this for the most part.

It will take more leaks to paint a more comprehensive picture of this Purple Forest Biome.
