Epic Games has started hinting at the upcoming Fortnite Festival x Karol G collaboration for Season 5 of the Festival game mode. The collaboration was first hinted at through the leaked Fortnite roadmap for 2024. With Season 4 with Metallica coming to an end soon, the developers have started paving the way for Karol G to make her debut on the Festival's main stage.
The hints towards the collaboration come in the form of a teaser that Epic Games has begun pushing in the game. This teaser, first released in the in-game news feed, was highlighted and shared by many prominent personalities in the Fortnite community, including veteran leaker HYPEX. The teaser features a new pink color scheme, an appropriate color that goes with Karol G’s aesthetics.

While the teaser does not reveal any explicit details regarding Fortnite Festival Season 5 featuring Karol G, it does suggest that the new season will arrive in the game on August 16, 2024. The new Festival season shares a release date with Chapter 5 Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale. This means that the update for Festival Season 5 is likely to be bundled with the Chapter 5 Season 4 update.
The Fortnite Festival x Karol G collaboration, much like previous in-game collaborations, is likely to feature one or maybe multiple skins for Karol G, with her being the main theme for the Festival Pass for Season 5. Additionally, Karol G’s arrival will also bring with it a batch of new Fortnite Jam Tracks that players can acquire and jam out to on the main stage.
