Many players are still unable to sprint in Fortnite Chapter 4. This is a big problem that drastically affects gameplay, but Epic Games is yet to provide a solution.

The sprinting issue has been in the game ever since the new chapter was released. With sprinting being an important mechanic in the popular video game, it's almost impossible to get victories without it.

Epic Games is currently on a company-wide break, so the problem most likely won't be fixed anytime soon. In the meantime, this article will reveal a workaround that may just solve your sprinting problem.

Back in Chapter 3, Epic Games released the Tactical Sprint as a new movement feature. It allows players to move much faster for a limited period of time and has been a real game-changer.

Unfortunately, the fourth chapter of the popular video game has brought forth a major issue with Tactical Sprint. From time to time, players cannot use the movement feature and they usually end up losing the game due to this problem.

However, there is a possible workaround that you can try and use to solve this problem. It has helped some players, but it's not guaranteed to work 100% of the time.

If you are into Fortnite and can't sprint, you should try opening your game settings and changing your keybinds. This method has helped some players regain the movement feature, so you should give it a shot.

Apparently, there is a problem with the keybind causing this issue. When players press the Tactical Sprint button, the game doesn't register it, which is why they can't sprint. You can try to fix the problem by simply unbinding the Tactical Sprint button and binding it again.

We would like to remind the readers once again that this trick doesn't work for all players. But, next time you can't sprint in Fortnite, try to quickly change the keybinds and check if it works.

When will Epic Games fix this problem?

Epic Games is currently on a company-wide winter break, which is why Fortnite's sprint issue will take a while to fix. The development team will return from the break on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

We expect the issue to be fixed with the next major update. Considering that Epic Games releases these updates on Tuesdays, the next one will most likely be released on January 10, 2023. This will be the v23.20 update, and, besides bug fixes, the game developer will bring at least one new item with it.

While Chapter 4 is a lot of fun, there are some serious issues players have been dealing with. Epic will have to do something about these problems soon to avoid pushing players away.
