A brand new season of Fortnite is just on the horizon. While the original end date for Chapter 4 Season 1 was today, March 8, it has been extended to March 10. On that day, everything will change.

That means a new battle pass with all new characters, a new storyline, and new challenges. It also usually means there will be a few new POIs, depending on how significant the season change is.

There will reportedly be several new POIs coming on March 10 whenever servers return. The new season's theme is futuristic, so expect the POIs to be like that.

However, a leak also confirms that a few old POIs are returning. As expected, Tilted Towers, which seems to be Epic Games' ultimate plaything, is returning. So is Lucky Landing.

The arrival of Lucky Landing is official because Epic Games released an official teaser with cherry trees in the background, which were a notable part of the POI back in its day. Without coming out and saying that the old POI is back, this is as clear a confirmation as ever.

The leakers speculated on whether or not this version of Lucky Landing would be the same as the old one, which was last on the island during Fortnite Chapter 1. It's been a long time since this particular POI was on the map, so it might seriously entice people to play again if they've taken a break.

Lucky Landing Fortnite POI confirmed to return in latest teaser

Lucky Landing was a fun POI from Chapter 1, and it's part of the old map everyone always asks for. Tilted Towers is, too, but it's also returned in every chapter in some way.

Therefore, it doesn't count as the old map because it's all the maps. Lucky Landing, however, is a true old Fortnite POI.

This confirmation still doesn't determine whether or not the new Lucky Landing Fortnite is bringing into the Chapter 4 Season 2 map will be an exact replica.

It could be modified to fit the futuristic theme, which would keep the game moving forward and not going back to the past.

The old map can't come back mainly because the game is constantly moving forward. They've dodged around it by reintroducing POIs through rifts and journeys through time, but they always move forward.

Introducing a modified and updated version of an old POI to fit the current island theme is a good way for Epic to get players interested with an old location without sacrificing the ever-progressing story.
