It's March 2, 2023, with less than six days to go until Chapter 4 Season 1 ends, and Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 leaks are still showing up en masse. A few hours ago, a treasure trove of leaks featuring two important upcoming skins/NPCs was compiled and posted on Twitter.
According to prominent leakers, the new reports come from an insider within Epic Games. Given their track record of accuracy, it's hard to deny that these leaks will come to fruition. With that said, here's more information on the two important upcoming skins/NPCs for next season.
Lizard skin and Drift will reportedly be in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass
The first skin reportedly confirmed to come to the Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is the Lizard skin that was found in the files following the update v23.50. While it was initially thought that the skin had something to do with the "Most Wanted," the theory was soon dismissed.

On the flip side of things, it may be possible that he's part of the Peace Syndicate. The organization helped The Seven and the Resistance fight back against the Imagined Order in Chapter 3. While they are the 'good guys' to an extent, their end goal is still unclear and rather sketchy.
As seen in the past and based on common knowledge, a criminal organization doesn't do things without reason. They merely do things to suit their needs. What these needs are will likely be revealed once Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 starts.
Moving on to the other skin (which is the main attraction), according to leakers, a new version of Drift will be added to the Battle Pass. After being rifted on the island in Chapter 1, it's assumed that he was the individual who formed the Fox Clan.
While not everyone is happy with the remix skin, so to speak, it'll be exciting to see how it plays into the storyline and lore of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.
What role will the Peace Syndicate and Fox Clan play in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?
While it's not certain how Peace Syndicate or Fox Clan will shape the storyline of the upcoming season, they will play a role for sure. Considering that the upcoming Lizard skin is somehow related to the syndicate, they are likely up to something on the island.
With Geno and the Imagined Order likely returning through the Rift Gate at the end of Chapter 4 Season 1, there's bound to be trouble brewing on the horizon. They are expected to once again help the islanders fight back against this new evil.
The Fox Clan, on the other hand, may be featured in a side plot that will run parallel to the main storyline. The new remix version of Drift will likely have a bone to pick with his evil Driftwalker snapshots. It's hard to say for certain, but they may also team up with the High Stakes Club.
Given that vampires are currently running rampant on the island (as seen in the trailer that featured Joni The Red), and with the Fox Clan being skilled hunters, it all falls into place.
That said, this is all based on speculation. If nothing else, both of these factions will appear in-game in some capacity for certain. If not via a side plot, then most definitely via Rift Encounters.
