Fortnite has gone through numerous changes since its release in September 2017. One thing that makes the video game special is its map, which has been subjected to numerous alterations. Fortunately for the community, it seems like Tilted Towers is going to make a return.

Each chapter in the title has had its own map. However, many OG players remember the island from Chapter 1 and all the amazing locations that it had. Tilted Towers was among the most iconic areas on the original map, and a lot of players still love it. While its return hasn't been confirmed by Epic Games yet, one latest leak indicates that the location could come back.

Tilted Towers was the most popular landing spot back in Chapter 1. The location was added with the v2.2.0 patch, which is mostly known as "The Tilted patch" in the Fortnite community.

The update completely changed the island and added several amazing places. Other than the aforementioned area, Epic Games also added Shifty Shafts, Haunted Hills, Snobby Shores, and more. Due to its central location, Tilted Towers was a great landing spot for players who didn't want to worry about the storm. Furthermore, it also contained more chests than any other region on the map, which made the place extremely popular.

According to FortTory, one of the most popular Fortnite leakers, Tilted Towers could return in Chapter 4. The individual claims that Epic Games added a sound file that has "Tilted Towers" in its name, which can be seen in the screenshot above.

The image also shows that the file also has "Asteria" in its name, which is the codename for the Chapter 4 map. As many players have already noticed, there is a clock tower from Tilted Towers located in Cold Cavern. Though it was partially destroyed, it survived the Fracture event and was brought to the current island by the Zero Point and The Paradigm.

At the moment, no release date is available for the return of Tilted Towers. Considering that Epic Games hasn't confirmed this information, there is also a chance that the game developer will postpone this inclusion until the release of another season.

However, if Epic does decide to bring Tilted Towers back soon, it could happen on Tuesday, January 31. Fortnite will receive the v23.30 update, which is the third major update in Chapter 4 Season 1.

Considering that the current Fortnite map was formed by the Zero Point, the source of energy will most likely pull chunks of the land floating around the island and expand it. Some portions most likely have the iconic location from Chapter 1, and that is how it could return.
