Fortnite received a hotfix yesterday following the v23.20 update last week, and a brand new item was added to the island. The item is called the Big Bush Bomb, which deploys a large bush anywhere the player throws it.

Various utility items are spread across Fortnite island in Chapter 4 Season 1. Where to find the Big Bush Bomb in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

The Big Bush Bomb was added to the latest Fortnite season earlier this week as a hotfix rather than a full update like v23.20. The item allows players to bush camp throughout Fortnite Island as long as they carry this deployable item.

The Big Bush Bomb can be easily found in regular loot chests in named locations around Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 island. These locations are mostly POIs that have a high chest spawn rate. All you need to do is head to any one of those and open enough loot chests until you get the item.

Once you get it, it usually stacks up to two by default. This means you can deploy up to two bushes using the looted Big Bush Bombs. However, the max stack size for the item is four in a single inventory slot. When thrown on the ground, the item deploys a large bush in front of you that can help you bush camp and hide from your enemies.

The item can also be deployed on vehicles where you can hide your vehicles under a large bush and drive them around the map. As every new item has alternate usage that players decrypt after a certain time, pros like Ninja and SypherPK found the Big Bush Bomb incredibly broken.

Those with a Bush Warrior augment activated can carry this item with them and deploy it as soon as they run out of health. As you might know, the healing speed of the Augment is much faster than a consumable. Pros will turn to this item to combine it with Bush Warrior for easy and quick heal.

However, this item's only drawback is that you cannot carry a deployed bush anywhere compared to the small bush item from Chapter 1. Once you throw the bomb on the ground, it will stay there, providing temporary cover until you rotate from that location.

While this item adds to the fun and excitement players are experiencing around the island, it also changes the gameplay in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
