Where to find Exotic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

Currently, in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, players can purchase five exotic weapons from NPCs found on the island. Additionally, they can obtain the Mythic variant of the Ex-Calibur Rifle by defeating The Ageless in combat. Here's the list:

The Dub

While the name may not be enough to impress, The Dub is one of the most dangerous shotguns to exist in-game. In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, the weapon can be purchased from Surrr Burger for 600 gold bars. This NPC can be found at Anvil Square.

Although this weapon is best left to be used by professional players, newcomers are welcome to try their hand at taming this weapon in combat. With that said, given that it's a close-range weapon, there is always risk involved.

Shadow Tracker

Unlike other pistols in-game, the Shadow Tracker allows its users to mark their opponents in combat, with this information then relayed to all squadmates. In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, this weapon can be purchased from Evie for 400 gold bars. She can be found at Shore Shack, located far south of Shattered Slabs.

Another major talking point of the Shadow Tracker is that it's a suppressed weapon. Any shots fired from it will not alert opponents nearby, allowing the user to keep shooting with impunity, or at least until their opponents manually find them.

Chug Cannon

The Chug Cannon is not really a weapon, but more of a utility combat tool. It runs on Slurp Juice and has unlimited ammo, automatically replenishing when the item is not in use. In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, the Chug Cannon can be purchased from Sunflower for 600 gold bars. She can be found at Frenzy Fields.

The best part about this utility item is that it can heal multiple squad members at once. Since it can replenish both HP and shield points, other squadmates can focus on carrying combat-oriented items. The only downside to this item is that it requires two inventory slots to be held.

Grappler Bow

Last seen in-game during Chapter 2 Season 6, the Grappler Bow is one of those items that can be used for both mobility and combat simultaneously. In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, this bow can be purchased from Princess Felicity Fish for 500 gold bars. She can be found at the Western Watch located west of The Citadel.

As its name implies, the Grappler Bow allows players to shoot at objects and move towards them. There's no fall damage involved with this item, so moving from high to low ground is possible. In dire situations, it can also be used as a weapon to shoot opponents.

Unstable Bow

This exotic weapon is another relic from a bygone era in the metaverse. It was last seen in Chapter 2 Season 6. In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, the Unstable Bow can be purchased from the NPC known as Wild Card for 500 gold bars. He can be found at Breakwater Bay.

What makes the Unstable Bow really amusing and unpredictable at the same time is that, after every shot, the weapon will change into another type of Bow. Given that Primal Flame, Primal Stink, Mechanical Explosive, and the Mechanical Shockwave Bow all have different strengths and weaknesses, mastering the Unstable Bow will certainly take some getting used to.

The Ageless Champion's Ex-Calibur Rifle

Although The Ageless Champion's Ex-Caliber Rifle is not an Exotic weapon, it is a fairly powerful one. Unfortunately, this weapon cannot be bought, but it has to be obtained through combat instead. To earn it, players must defeat The Ageless Champion (Geno) located at The Citadel.

Although the weapon is not unique, it does have better stats than the standard Ex-Calibur rifle. That said, obtaining the weapon is not going to be easy. Truth be told, unless obtaining the weapon becomes part of some challenge, it's not worth the effort and time to try to obtain it while playing solo.
