Fixing performance issues with Elden Ring Nightreign on PlayStation consoles
1) Restart your console

While playing your favourite game for extended hours can be thrilling, it can often put a load on your console and lead to overheating, which can cause other performance issues such as stuttering and crashing. This is precisely why it might be best to let your console rest before playing again. Simply shut down your PlayStation and turn it back on after 15-20 minutes, allowing it to return to normal temperatures.
2) Check for poor ventilation issues
If the above-mentioned tip did not help reduce the temperatures, chances are that there is something wrong with your console's thermals. Accumulated dust can be one of the reasons why it might be getting overheated. Moreover, if it is kept in a poorly ventilated spot, you might experience dips in performance while playing Elden Ring Nightreign.
Simply give your console a good clean using a microfibre cloth and/or a can of compressed air. While at it, relocate your console to a better spot if needed.
3) Make sure your console has enough available space
If your console is running out of space, you could experience performance dips when gaming. This can be fixed by deleting unwanted games and software or upgrading your SSD.
4) Check for firmware and game updates
If your PlayStation has any pending firmware updates you haven't installed, download and install them. Running an older version of firmware can often be a reason behind poor performance while gaming. Similarly, ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest update for Elden Ring Nightreign.
