The new character for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round which Team Ninja teased about has finally been revealed. The DOA developers posted a teaser image of the new character via Twitter last week which Famitsu has revealed is a pink haired Japanese school girl named Honoka.

The latest issue of Famitsu has printed an image along with a short description of the latest addition to the DOA roster. Honoka is (quite hilariously) described as having a “plump body” and “bright” pink hair. Honoka doesn’t look very plump so it probably means that she’s voluptuous. The magazine also mentions that the character has a special “secret power”. Besides this, Honoka is seen wearing a distinctive School uniform with a single pig tail.

Since a number of the games characters use various martial art styles, it will be interesting to see what Honoka’s “secret power” is and how it will affect her fighting style. Besides Honoka, the other new character set to appear in the game is a cyborg version of Raidou, the final boss in the original Dead or Alive game. Raidou isn’t exactly a new character, but since he has not been featured in any of the games after his initial appearance and with his whole new cyborg makeover he can (sort of) be classified as a new character.

Team Ninja has stated that more information on the new school girl fighter will be revealed by the 15th of January. Publishers Tecmo Koei might also be reveal a trailer and screenshots of the upcoming game sometime soon.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be releasing on 17th February in North America for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
