What's the story?

WWE's SmackDown Live Superstar James Ellsworth has started a campaign on Twitter over the past few hours called #JusticeforEllsworth in the hope that he'll get included in the WWE 2K18 video game. At the moment, it seems like he will be omitted from the game. Here is his Tweet:

In case you didn't know...

James Ellsworth has been with WWE for over a year now, after being on the indies for years. Although he started off with the company as enhancement talent, he has since become the manager of WWE's first ever 'Ms.Money in the Bank', Carmella. The pair have provided much comedy, together, every week on SmackDown Live.

James Ellsworth has never been part of a WWE 2K Game before.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today, James Ellsworth sent out a tweet to @WWEgames, in which he tried to get the WWE Universe behind him as he sought his character's inclusion in the WWE 2K18 video game.

This is after James revealed yesterday that there was no plan to have him in the game, much to the disappointment of his fans. Ellsworth is using #JusticeforEllsworth in his pursuit of being involved in the game, presumably as Carmella's manager.

What's Next?

Hopefully for Ellsworth, his Twitter campaign will be successful and WWE 2K will try to add him to the game. It may be too late however to make such an addition.

Author's take

I was surprised to hear that James Ellsworth hasn't been included in the game because I think many fans were looking forward to playing as him. Ellsworth is definitely someone you could use to have a lot of fun in the game.

It would be very disappointing for him if he is omitted from the game because WWE Superstars always look forward to getting their Video Game money bonus. So, I say we should help Ellsworth and Tweet #JusticeforEllsworth . Remember, any man with two hands has a fighting chance!!
