Mad Max: Fury Road is doing extremely well in the box office, garnering positive reviews from critics and viewers alike. Sadly, the Mad Max game still has a long way to go before its slated release this year on September 1st. But judging from what we have seen in the recently released trailers, the game will be as insane and action packed as the movie. WB Games plans to make this a storied franchise as well, where Max will get to face off against different enemies across the Australian wasteland
The recently released trailer gives viewers a more detailed look on the games story, which seems to be based on Gas Town this time. For those of you who are yet to watch the movie, Gas town is one of the top three (evil) factions. If you want to understand the hype surrounding the game, you will really need to watch the movie, which is probably one of director George Millers best.
The trailer opening is quite similar to the opening of the movie, where Max is attacked by a group of War Boys. However, it diverts from there and depicts Max trying to get his trusty vehicle back from the marauders. Although it seems to tie in well with Fury Road, WB has stated that the game will be a standalone title. There are also tons of new characters showcased in the trailer. You can check it out below:
