Revealed: Tekken 7's opening cinematic

The opening cinematic for Tekken 7’s arcade version has now been revealed.

A cinematic of Tekken 7 had been shown at EVO 2014. The video is an extended, pre-rendered form of the same video. It gives us an insight into the confrontation between Kayuza and Heihachi Mishima. The infamous father son relationship reaches a point where the two meet each other for the last time and fight till there is one man standing.

Heihachi and Kayuza fight each other in a place that is surrounded by lava. According to Bandai Namco, this is the “Final Battle” between the two. That would mean that this battle would be the end of the road for either Kayuza or Mishima!

As we move on towards the end of the cinematic, we see Kayuza get the upperhand using his devil powers. His mother is also seen helping him get stronger. The video ends abruptly and we are unable to see the face of the final victor. The downside hower would be that, there was no gameplay footage shown in the cinematic.

Japanese gamers would not have to wait very long as th game will be made available to them towards the end of February. The wait would be longer for the rest of the world as th arcade machines would not be arriving until later this year. Let us all pray that Bandai Namco confirms a console release for the game in the near future.
