The Momentum One Day Cup 2021 is a domestic one-day cricket championship which will be taking place in South Africa between January 9th and February 14th, 2021. It is going to be the 40th edition of the championship.
The tournament is administered by Cricket South Africa and played according to the List A format. For this edition of the tournament, Dolphins are the defending champions who lifted the trophy last year.
A total of 15 matches will be played in the tournament, three of which are going to be the first and second semi-finals and the finals. All the matches are going to be played in 50-over i.e, One Day format with most of the matches being day-night and all be taking place behind closed doors at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
There are a total of six teams which are going to participate in the 2020 Momentum One Day Cup.

The Momentum One Day Cup 2021 is going to be played amongst the six teams in a double round-robin format followed by the playoffs. Each team will face every other team twice. The group stage will consist of a total of 12 matches.

The top four teams leading the Momentum One Day cup points table by the end of the group stage will qualify for the playoffs. At the playoffs the team placed first at the points table will face the one that is placed fourth in the first semi-final. The second and third-place teams will compete at the second semi-final. The winners of both the semi-final matches will then play the final.
