About PAK W vs SA W
The South African women’s cricket team will host Pakistan from 20 January to 3 February 2021.
SA W vs PAK W 2021 will be South Africa women’s team's first international action since March of last year. The tour was finalised on December 14 by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The tour will have three Women’s One Day Internationals and three Women’s Twenty20 Internationals.
All the matches will be played in a bio-secure environment at the Kingsmead cricket ground in Durban. Earlier some matches were scheduled to be played at Pietermaritzburg but later it was deceived to have all the matches on a single ground.
The WODIs will be played on 20, 23 and 26 January 2021. The ODI series is not part of the ICC Women’s Championship. South Africa have already qualified for the 2020 50-over World Cup in New Zealand while Pakistan cricket team will have to play the qualifying event in July. The T20 series will start from 29 January. The second match of the series will be played on 31 January and the tour will conclude with the final WT20I on 3 February 2021.
These two teams last met in May 2019. They played three ICC Women’s Championship ODIs which ended in a 1-1 draw. Pakistan's tour to South Africa will also be their first assignment under head coach David Hemp and bowling coach Arshad Khan, who was appointed in October and November respectively.
