CSA 4 Day Franchise Series 2020 is a first-class cricket competition taking place in South Africa. The tournament started on 2 November 2020 and will conclude on 21 February 2021.
Six teams are taking part in the South Africa 4 day franchise series. The teams are split in two pools of three each. Pool A consists of Cape Cobras, Titans and Warriors. Dolphins, Lions and Knights are in Pool 2.
The tournament follows a double round-robin format where each team plays twice against the team in their group and once against the teams from the other group. All the 21 matches will be played in seven rounds of three matches. All three matches in a single round will be played at the same time. All the rounds except the last one will be played in 2020.

Teams are awarded points based on the result of the match as follows:
Win: 16 points
Tie: 8 points
Draw: 6 points
Any other result: 0 points
In addition, teams earn bonus points based on their performance in the first 100 overs of each team’s first innings:
Batting bonus points: 1 point for reaching 150 runs, then 0.02 points for each run thereafter
Bowling bonus points: 1 point for taking three wickets, then 1 point for each two wickets thereafter
