Anthony Kim criticized Simone Biles by sharing a popular UFC fighter's interview on his Instagram story. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist had recently slammed Riley Gaines, who has long campaigned against the inclusion of transgender girls and women in women's sports.
Gaines had earlier criticized a Minnesota high school for having a transgender athlete play on the team, and Biles responded by criticizing her stance.
"You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports. But instead… You bully them," Biles had written on X.
In another post, she wrote to Gaines, "bully someone your own size, which would ironically be a male."
Anthony Kim shared his thoughts on the matter by posting a video of Julianna Pena on his Instagram stories. In the video, the UFC star claimed that she once got beat up by a line cook at her old job. In an interview on the Overdogs Podcast, Pena, who has a net worth of $2 million (via Celebrity Net Worth), claimed:
"I went into the back alley while I was serving, and I fought the line cook. I got dropped, I popped right back up, I went at him again, he dropped me again... I thought that I could fight a man... I learned my lesson. I don't want anything to do with fighting dudes."
"@SimonBiles would disagree 🤷♂️ 😂," Kim wrote on his Instagram stories.

Anthony Kim has been quite outspoken on social media with his opinions on different matters. There have also been instances where Kim has called out the rigid norms in golf and criticized some etiquettes of golfers as well.
Last year, Kim criticized trans athlete Valentina Petrillo, who competed in the Paralympic Games in Paris.
When Anthony Kim called out Italian trans athlete Valentina Petrillo
In September 2024, Italian trans athlete Valentina Petrillo took part in the Paralympic Games in Paris. The athlete qualified for the semifinals of the T12 women's 400m and T12 women's 200m, but failed to reach the final in either discipline.
Petrillo's participation at the Paralympics became the subject of a lot of debate. Anthony Kim reposted a post on X (previously Twitter), and slammed Patrillo. The golfer wrote:
"Guy has a d*** and dad to two kids and wants to race women who have worked incredibly hard to compete but we all have to sit here & act like this s*** is normal. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! #mentalillness is no joke. Keep men out of women’s sports. #girldad #gratitude #mentalhealth"
