Phil Mickelson is regarded as one of the top golfers of his generation. He has recently regained some of his form, which could be a game-changer heading into the US Open.
There, Mickelson will have the opportunity to become the seventh man to complete the career grand slam in golf. He has been receiving a lot of support, even from the son of golf legend Greg Norman.
Greg Norman Jr. used his X (formerly Twitter) account to post about Mickelson's upturn in form. During his post, he made a reference to the golfer's recent dive into YouTube videos and content creation.
Norman Jr. claimed that Mickelson has been having a blast creating content on YouTube, which again was translated to a strong performance at LIV Golf Virginia.
Greg Norman Jr. expressed his delight after viewing Phil Mickelson's form. Norman's X post read:
"Really think YouTube for Phil was fantastic for him. Watch his videos and you can see him having an absolute blast out there. He looked like that today on the course. Can he pull off magic again.. and right before the US Open?"
The US Open will begin on June 12 at the Oakmont Country Club. The course contains extremely long rough, which startled even the defending champion, Bryson DeChambeau. Winning the tournament would be a challenging task for Phil Mickelson, especially since in-form golfers Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are also set to compete.
