Apart from that, Mickelson has a total score of 32.5 in all tournament editions he has participated in his career. This is the highest number of points scored by any player in the tournament's history.
The first round of LIV Golf Virginia ended with Phil Mickelson in exceptional form. He finished the opening round at four-under par, with seven birdies and three bogeys. After the first round, he was tied for third place in the event, one shot behind Bryson DeChambeau and Martin Kaymer.
