Who won the 2024 CME Group Tour Championship? Final leaderboard explored

The 2024 CME Group Tour Championship concluded on Sunday (Nov. 24) at Tiburon Golf Club in Florida. Jeeno Thitikul capped an outstanding 2024 with the title at the season-closing event.

Thitikul won the CME Group Tour Championship with a score of 22 under, one stroke ahead of Angel Yin. Lydia Ko, Ruoning Yin, Nelly Korda and Narin An rounded out the top 5.

Jeeno Thitikul eagled the 17th hole to tie with Angel Yin, who was the sole leader at the CME Group Tour Championship at that point. Thitikul then won the tournament by birdieing the 18th hole, where Yin could only make par.

It was Thitikul's fourth career LPGA Tour victory and second of 2024. During the current season, the Thai also has 10 other top-10 finishes, including two runner-up finishes.

Thitikul's performance in 2024 was so outstanding that she won the Aon Risk Reward Challenge by posting the best average score on the season's toughest holes, known as Aon Holes.

Jeeno Thitikul won the Vare Trophy in 2023, which is awarded to the player with the best scoring average for the season. The victory at the CME Group Tour Championship is the most important of her career so far.
