The Annika is the sole namesake women's golf event on the LPGA Tour. The ANNIKA Foundation will benefit from a multi-year partnership that will see Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam host Tampa Bay's signature LPGA Tour event.

The event is styled as The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican; however, the event was originally known as the Pelican Women's Championship, which was founded in 2020, and the inaugural winner was Kim Sei-young.

Who won The Annika in 2024?

The 2024 Annika is set to take place from November 13 to 17 at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, in the United States, and so the winner will be updated likewise.

The 2023 Annika was won by Lilia Vu, defeating Azahara Munoz and Alison Lee by three strokes, the latter tied for second place. It was Vu's fourth LPGA Tour win, and her 261, under 19, also set a tournament score record. She earned $487,500 as the winner's share of the $3.25 million purse.

Stephanie Kyriacou tied Emily Kristine Pedersen for fifth place overall, after Amy Yang finished in fourth place. Lexi Thompson, Ariya Jutanugarn, Megan Khang, Rouing Yin, and Minami Katsu all finished in a five-way tie for seventh place.

The 2022 event, which was won by Nelly Korda, was originally set to take place from November 10 to November 13. However, due to Hurricane Nicole's impending arrival, which brought with it heavy rain and wind, the November 10 start date was canceled, and the competition was reduced to 54 holes.

The Tampa Bay region received 4.68 inches (11.9 cm) of rain during the storm, which had winds of up to 70 miles per hour (110 km/h). The golf course workers worked through the night to ensure that play could start at 6:55 a.m., as planned, and by then the course was in good condition.
