Who won the 2024 Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España? Exploring the final leaderboard

The final round of the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de España presented by OYSHO was played on Sunday, December 1, at the Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf. Local star Carlota Ciganda won the title.

Ciganda won with a score of 18 under, one stroke ahead of Manon De Roey. Five other Spanish players finished in the top 20.

Carlota Ciganda was unable to continue her run of 40 bogey-free holes at the Open de España, carding four birdies and three bogeys. That was enough to keep her one stroke ahead of Manon De Roey.

Speaking to the Ladies European Tour News Service after her victory at the Open de España, Carlota Ciganda said:

“I’m very happy to win here in Spain in front of so many people and my family, it’s always great to play here. I love Spain, and it’s always very special.”

This is Ciganda's fourth victory in a high-profile tournament in her home country. It's also her second victory at the Open de España and eighth on the Ladies European Tour.

Manon De Roey played the fourth round of the Open de España with no bogeys and four birdies and had a chance to force a playoff when Ciganda had bogeyed the 18th. But the Belgian couldn't get the birdie she needed as she finished second.
