31 January 2014, Bhubaneswar:Kalinga Lancers will be facing Dabur Mumbai Magicians on their home ground tomorrow. With two games each, both the teams are yet to win a match in the League. While Dabur Mumbai Magicians in the two matches that the team has played they managed to keep the goal difference to 2 or less, which helped them to win 1 point each in both the games. On the other hand, Kalinga Lancers were unsuccessful in controlling the opponents and in both the matches the goal difference was more than 2 and going by the rules they are yet to earn points.
Speaking on the preparations Head Coach of M K Kaushik said “Tomorrow the team has to stick to basics and improve our game and focus on techniques and defense. We are sure to come back strong and win the match. The boys are focused and will aim to win all important games from here on. With foreign coaches around we also get to learn skills, techniques and strategies. “
Speaking on their clash against Kalinga Lancers, Captain Prabhjot Singh said “Though we lost the last two matches, this team is still a very good team with good players and a great coach. Tomorrow the focus is to stick to the techniques which were missing in the last two games. HIL is a good platform for youngsters to show their talent”.
