After biopics on Milkha Singh and Mary Kom, it is Dhyan Chand’s biopic that will hit the celluloid screens. Filmmaker Karan Johar along with Pooja and Aarti Shetty will share the hockey Wizard’s story.
Dhyan Chand helped India win three Olympic gold medals in 1928, 1932 and 1936. Johar shared his excitement via Twitter.
Student of the Year director did not reveal more information about the lead of the film although reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan will play Dhyan Chand in the film. The Chennai Express star quashed these rumours. The casting of actors for the film is yet to be announced.
