New Delhi – Russian women’s team beat Fiji women’s team 9-0 to register win on the second day of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2 Delhi 2013 being played at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.
Russia scored through Alina Krasnoperova (9th minute penalty corner, 39th minute and 47thminute), Yana Doronina (20th minute & 57th minute), Ekaterina Shaburova, (26th minute & 28th minute), Ksenia Svezhentseva (65th minute) and Margarita Drepenkina (68th minute).
Fiji players failed to score any goal. Alina Krasnoperova from Russia was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.
Russia will now face Japan on Thursday, 21 February 2013 and Fiji will play against China on 21st February 2013.
