Tickets for Hero Hockey World League Round 2 tournament released

There is some good news for the hockey fans. The tickets for the upcoming Hero Hockey World League Round 2 tournament was officially released on Thursday.

Tickets for the seven-day tournament can be purchased from the ticket counter of the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium at Gate No. 5. The ticket counter shall remain open from from 10 am to 6 pm daily.

For all those hockey buffs, who wish to buy tickets online, they can log in to www.ticketgenie.in website, which is the official online ticketing partner of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2.

Besides the above, tickets can also be bought from as many as 20 outlets of mobile stores across Delhi. These outlets are located at Connaught Place, South Extension Part 1, Greater Kailash 2, Kamla Nagar, Kingsway Camp, New Friends Colony, Delhi Cantt, Rohini Sec 9, Pitampura among others.

Tickets are priced Rs 50 and Rs 1,000 for general stands and heritage block respectively.

In another significant development, the organisers have facilitated complimentary tickets for former hockey Olympians and international players.

Hockey India Secretary General Dr. Narinder Batra said they have kept the ticket prices low keeping in mind the huge interest among youngsters.

India men launch their campaign on the opening day of the tournament on February 18 against 70th ranked Fiji at 8 pm, while the Indian women play their opening game against Kazakhstan at 6 pm on the same day.
