NCAA Frozen Four is set to return on Thursday

While many sports fans believe that March belongs to March Madness, the end of the month belongs to the Frozen Four. The biggest tournament in NCAA hockey is set to kick off on Thursday, March 23, with 16 of the top college hockey teams going head-to-head for the 2023 crown.

After completing their qualification rounds, the top 16 teams will compete in a Regional bracket from March 23-26 in four different US cities. The games will be held in Fargo (North Dakota), Manchester (New Hampshire), Allentown (Pennsylvania), and Bridgeport (Connecticut).

Regional brackets will run from March 23-26, with the winners moving on to the Frozen Four semi-finals in Tampa Bay, Florida. Here is a preview of the matchups and times for each opening game.

Men’s Frozen Four schedule in Tampa, Florida

The semi-finals will be played on April 6, with the Fargo Regional Champion taking on the Manchester Regional Champion (5 p.m. ET) and the Bridgeport Regional Champion battling the Allentown Regional Champion (8 p.m. ET).

The National Championship will be played at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 8, at Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
