Is he going to appear this week on IMPACT Wrestling?

Welcome to this week's edition of IMPACT Wrestling Preview. The company's Special Event Against All Odds grabbed a lot of eyeballs. Fans were left stunned by the way the show closed as Don Callis decided to fire Sami Callihan.

This week's IMPACT Wrestling will have all the fallout from Against All Odds. The company has already announced a few exciting matches and segments, including a crucial appearance by someone from the Anthem Board.

With the company's next major pay-per-view, Slammiversary, exactly a month away, it remains to be seen which big money feud has been planned for the show.

The July 17th event will also mark the return of a live crowd for the first time since last year. It will be an exciting build-up to the event.

So let's take a look at what to expect from the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

#5 Will Sami Callihan appear on IMPACT Wrestling this week?

At Against All Odds, Kenny Omega defeated Moose to retain his IMPACT World Championship, thanks to an interference from The Young Bucks. The moment that caught everyone's attention was when Sami Callihan appeared out of nowhere to attack the heels.

However, Don Callis used his power to fired Callihan from the company immediately, leaving the main event for the Slammiversay up in the air.

Less than 24 hours after his firing, the company unfollowed him on Twitter and even removed his profile from the website's roster page. Fans have been buzzing on social media about the future of the Callihan Death Machine.

Despite facing all the odds, Sami Callihan promised that he's going to appear on tonight's episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

The company's EVP Scott D'Amore also revealed that someone from the Anthem Board will appear on the show. This is going to be the most intriguing segment of the show.

In all likelihood, authority figures Callis and D'Amore will be engaged in a war of words over the decision about Slammiversary's main event.

Based on Callihan's Twitter claims, he is most likely to appear on the show. While we all know this is a big swerve, the company wants to grab more eyeballs for the upcoming pay-per-view.

To make the storyline interesting, Sami Callihan can invade the show until he gets his job and the title opportunity back.

While it is difficult to predict the outcome of the upcoming segment, fans are certainly going to love every bit of it.

#4 X-Division champion Josh Alexander faces Madman Fulton on IMPACT Wrestling

Tonight on IMPACT Wrestling, X-Division champion Josh Alexander will lock horns with Madman Fulton.

Fresh off his 60-Minute Iron Man match victory over TJP a couple of weeks ago, Josh Alexander has become a force to be reckoned with. With the company still without their IMPACT Wrestling world title, Josh Alexander has stepped up to make the X-Division title relevant ever since.

With the Slammiversary event fast approaching, the company must be planning to have the gold defended at the show.

IMPACT Wrestling star Madman Fulton has been lost in the shuffle ever since his association with Sami Callihan ended back in 2020. His alliance with Ace Austin hasn't been that great as well.

But this week, he will have the opportunity to revive his career. A win over the X-Divison champion will grant him a title opportunity, possibly at the upcoming pay-per-view.

With Ace Austin in his corner, the bout could lead to a disqualification ending. Regardless of the outcome, fans can expect a hard-hitting contest from two.

#3 Tenille Dashwood faces Rachael Ellering on IMPACT Wrestling

Tenille Dashwood will face Rachael Ellering in a singles bout on this week's IMPACT Wrestling.

This has been a strange feud that doesn't involve any stakes moving forward. Ever since Grace and Ellering lost to Fire 'N Flava, their status has been demoted in the women's division.

At Against All Odds, the Australian star defeated Jordynne Grace, thanks to the distraction from Kaleb With a K.

Given Dashood's current momentum, it seems unlikely that she would be losing this match. Her new persona hasn't been great. Even though Tenille is winning a majority of her bouts, ultimately there hasn't been much progression for her.

Rachael Ellering will be looking to seek revenge on behalf of her partner this week. On an interesting note, Jordynne Grace is teasing a heel turn based on her growing frustration over losing matches.

If Ellering ends up losing this week, fans can expect IMPACT Wrestling star Grace to snap at her partner. A change in character might do wonders for her.

#2 Steve Maclin will make his debut on IMPACT Wrestling tonight

IMPACT Wrestling's newest acquisition, Steve Maclin, will make his much-anticipated debut on the show tonight.

Steve Maclin, formerly known as Steve Cutler in WWE, was released earlier this year.

After completing his 90-day non-compete clause, the former WWE superstar appeared on IMPACT Wrestling a few weeks ago through a vignette.

His run with Vince McMahon's company was mixed bag as his main roster run didn't yield any success. IMPACT Wrestling could provide him with the platform to make a name for himself as he can be a great mid-card talent on the show.

With the Slammiversary event around the corner, Steve Maclin is expected to wrestle his first match in the company on July 17th.

During tonight's show, Maclin can elaborate on his plans with the company. Fans can expect the former WWE superstar to kickstart his first feud as soon as this week.

The company could have him feud with W. Morrisey, who doesn't seem to have a match for the upcoming pay-per-view.

#1 Satoshi Kojima faces Rhino in a high-stakes match on IMPACT Wrestling

Tonight on IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW legend Satoshi Kojima faces Rhino of VBD. The bout involves a high-stakes stipulation. If Kojima wins, he will get an opportunity alongside Eddie Edwards to challenge VBD for the tag team titles.

The NJPW legend has been involved in a feud with Violent By Design for weeks now. At Against All Odds, he came up short against his long-time rival Joe Doering.

The outcome was shocking since many expected Kojima to walk out victorious due to his legendary status.

But the company seems to be prolonging this feud. With that in mind, fans can expect the NJPW legend to win his match this week to earn the tag team title opportunity.

With Eddie Kingston by his side, the company is surely looking to book this mega IMPACT tag team title bout for the Slammiversary event.

Violent By Design can use the Freebird rule, with Joe Doering stepping in this time to defend the tag team titles.

We will find out more about how the storyline progresses this week on IMPACT Wrestling.
