IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo finds her next challenger

Speaking of Homecoming, Drama King Matthew Rehwoldt made his debut for IMPACT Wrestling at the event. He joined Deonna Purrazzo, with the two going onto be crowned IMPACT Wrestling's King and Queen.

Rehwoldt introduced the queen, IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, to the ring. Purrazzo went over her accolades in the company. A two-time Knockouts Champion. The 2020 Wrestler of the year and 2020 Knockout of the year. The Virtuosa is even the first Ironwoman of IMPACT Wrestling.

Mickie James interrupted Purrazzo's celebration, coming down to the ring with a contract in hand. They shook hands last week, with Purrazzo promising to appear at NWA EmPowerrr on August 29th. Purrazzo didn't want to be tricked like at Slammiverasry. She wanted to know who she'd be facing at EmPowerrr.

James was prepared and said her opponent was here tonight. It was none other than Melina Perez. Knowing her opponent for the event, the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion had no hesitation signing the contract. James got the signatures of both Deonna and Melina, and The Virtuosa introduced herself to her opponent.

Speaking of Knockouts Champions, Taylor Wilde explained where she'd been for the past two months. She said that someone reported her as a "suspicious" person, and she accused Tenille Dashwood as the culprit. What was her proof? The person to call in the tip was "Kelvin with a K." That's why she faced Kaleb with a K last week, and next up was Tenille.
