The playoffs of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5 kickoff from Monday, 23 October 2017 with 6 teams in the fray including Puneri Paltan, UP Yoddha, Patna Pirates, Haryana Steelers, Gujarat Fortune Giants and Bengal Warriors.

Patna Pirates lead the raid point charts by a big margin with a total of 837 raid points gained in 22 games. Let's have a look at the top 5 raiders from the team that have qualified for the playoffs:

Pradeep Narwal

The raid points and overall points leader of this season is none other than the 'Dubki King' Pradeep Narwal. He has humongous 274 points in 22 games which if averaged, means at least a Super 10 in every game.

The Patna Pirates captain has 15 Super 10s and 11 Super Raids to his name, which shows how much he is a menace for the defence of every other team. Narwal has carried the team on his shoulders a number of times and is they main reason why Patna Pirates are in play-offs this season. Continuing his current form in the play-offs, which will be no less than terror for other teams.

The former Telugu Titans man lived up to the expectation with Puneri Paltans as well. The 5 feet 11 inches tall raider from Rohtak has amassed 167 points from 22 games. He was a part of the Haryana team that bagged golds in national championships at Patna in 2014 and that is when he came into limelight.

Continuing his success, he helped India win the gold in 2016 South Asian Games at Guwahati. He was the second costliest player in the auctions of the inaugural Pro Kabaddi League. The Pune captain has 6 Super 10s to his name this season, along with 8 super raids, which clearly shows why he deserves to be in this list.

This small town boy from Malakpur is no less than a Kabaddi prodigy. After plying his trade with Puneri Paltan and Bengal Warriors the he is currently the captain of UP Yoddhas. Due to his structure and raiding skills, he is famously known as the 'UP ka Bahubali'.

Despite missing a few games, he has been able to amass 160 points in just 19 games this season. He delivered as a captain and a top raider in every game he played. That is why he has 7 Super 10s to his name this season. Moreover, out of the 160 raid points 130 have come from successful raids. This 82.5% success rate shows what lies in store for this young Kabaddi star and in the upcoming play-off games.

With a total of 176 points from 22 games the Patna Pirates man stands 5th among top raiders of this season. He has formed a formidable partnership along with Pradeep Narwal leading to Patna Pirates being the top raid point scorers this season by a hefty margin.

He has 8 Super 10s to his name, which speaks volumes about his ability. However, only 3 Super raids this season is a matter of concern and should be worked upon in order to help Patna Pirates progress further. If he can raise his ante up to the levels of Pradeep Narwal, Patna Pirates can surely be a nightmare to all other teams in the play-offs.

Maninder Singh

When the Jaipur Pink Panthers won the inaugural edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, there was one player who made quite a few heads turn his way with his consistent exploits on the mat irrespective of the rivals. The man in question is none other than the crafty raider, Maninder Singh!

However he is currently trying to make a statement with Bengal Warriors by being their highest point scorer and prime raider this season. He has scored 174 points out of the total 688 points scored by Bengal this season which comes down to 25.3% points scored by just one player. 142 out of those 174 points coming out of successful raids show why he is someone every team should fear.
