Bengaluru Bulls vs Dabang Delhi - The Eagles continue quest for maiden win
Dabang Delhi take on Bengaluru Bulls in their only match of the Patna leg tonight in season 3 of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League. Both teams haven’t really had great seasons so far, with Delhi at the bottom of the table while Bengaluru are in the 7th spot.
The team from Delhi have had to deal with slow starts to their matches so far, as a result of which they find themselves in a big hole, one that is difficult to get out of. The Dabangs have very good players on their roster, and if there was any team that could make a comeback after a start such as this, it is the Delhi franchise.
With star raider Kashiling Adake back from national duty, the Eagles will be hoping that he goes full throttle and gets them as many raid points as possible. He would also be looking for good support from Rohit Kumar Chaudhary and Surjeet Singh to ensure that the team gets the most out of what is probably the most attacking raid unit in the league.
Captain Ravinder Pahal is very crucial going forward and needs to be on the top of his game to ensure that the Dabang Delhi defence is fully ready and functional. The Eagles have been decent in patches, but it is now important for the team to step up and show that they have what it takes to be one of the stingiest defense units in the league.
Bengaluru Bulls have had a tough time as well, failing to make the most of their home leg initially, winning only match while losing three. The Surjeet Narwal outfit have struggled to find consistency but have performed much better in their previous few matches, though they lost them eventually.
The previous match between these two sides saw the Bulls prevailing 35-29 in a close encounter. Dabang Delhi will be looking for revenge and would be hoping to see their stars Kashiling Adake and Ravinder Pahal dominate. An important encounter that will determine this matchup would be the individual battle between Pahal and Narwal.
The match between Dabang Delhi and Bengaluru Bulls is the 1st match of the day, and will start at 8 pm Indian time.
