In Match No. 106 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, Dabang Delhi will lock horns against the Gujarat Fortunegiants at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
Previously when these two teams have clashed earlier in the season, the Gujarat Fortunegiants have come out on top against the Dabangs and will thus be eager to maintain the record and notch up another win tonight.
Dabang Delhi are coming into this clash on the back of a loss against the Telugu Titans while the Gujarat team will be high on confidence post their last win against the defending champions Patna Pirates.
Dabang Delhi have quite evidently struggled so far in the season and even had a dismal home leg wherein they did not manage to register even a single win. Hence, the team will be hoping to turn the tables in their favour in this fixture.
The Delhi attack is spearheaded by the Iranian duo of Meraj Sheykh and Abolfazl Maghsoudlou along with Rohit Baliyan, who plays in the capacity of the third raider. However, it is the defence that has lacked some sheen, with the coach trying out various player combinations but none of them have been particularly successful so far.
