Haryana Steelers vs Dabang Delhi Match Prediction: Who will win today's Pro Kabaddi 2017 match?

In Match No. 74 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, the Haryana Steelers will take the battle to the mat against the Dabangs from Delhi at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat, Haryana.

Both the teams are coming into this encounter on the back of contrasting results, the Haryana Steelers having lost their clash against the Telugu Titans on Sunday night while Dabang Delhi last played out a tie against the Bengal Warriors.

The head-to-head for the two teams stands in favour of the Haryana Steelers who won the match in the Lucknow leg by a slender margin of just two points.

The Steelers will be eager to get their second win in the home leg in this match and make a strong comeback after a dismal performance against the Titans. The defence led by Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar will have to make its presence felt alongside the cover Rakesh Singh Kumar and all-rounder Parmod Narwal.

The raiding department will be spearheaded by Wazir Singh alongside the likes of Prashant Rai who will have to come back to the form he displayed against Bengaluru Bulls where he picked up a Super-10. Surjeet Singh will also have to pull up his socks in the absence of the young gun Vikas Khandola who has been out due to injury concerns.

Delhi might miss the services of Meraj Sheykh

Dabang Delhi, on the other hand, may have a depleted force featuring in this match given the fact that Meraj and Abolfazl did not play the entire stretch of the last game after suffering injuries midway. In such a scenario, experienced campaigners, Nilesh Shinde and Bajirao Hodage will have to come to the fore and they will be assisted in the defence by Sunil and Viraj Landge.

The attack will then be led by Rohit Baliyan and youngster Anand Patil who picked up 9 raid points in the match against Bengal while Shubham Palkar will come into action for the do-or-die situations.

However, if Meraj Sheykh does return to action, the team will have to work a wee bit harder to clinch the points at stake.
