Welcome to the Live coverage of the grand final between defending champions Patna Pirates and season 1 winners Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad in the ongoing Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League season 4.
The Patna-based franchise defeated Puneri Paltan 39-34 in the first of semi-finals which proved to be a thrilling contest between the two powerhouses of Pro Kabaddi. Their Star raider Pardeep Narwal has been sensational this season with scoring a mammoth total of 115 raid points(2nd highest in the league) so far, just shy of Rahul Chaudhari’s 128 mark. The latest addition to the squad, Fazel Atrachali has taken the kabaddi world by storm with his blistering performances for his new franchise this season, even combined superbly with his Iranian teammate Hadi Oshtorak against the Pune-based franchise in the semi-finals to take the defending champions to into their 2nd consecutive final!
On the other hand, Jaipur Pink Panthers overcame a difficult challenge against the hosts Telugu Titans to win their semi-final tie and qualify for their 2nd final in 4 seasons. The 22-year old, Amit Hooda has been the find of this season 4 and currently lies on the top of the table of defenders with the highest number of successful tackles (44) this season, tied with Patna Pirates’ Fazel Atrachali and Bulls’ Mohit Chhillar. Their star raider Jasvir Singh has led the side from the front, with his unusual tricks and tactics helping the Panthers to finish at 3rd place in the final league standings and once again, there would be a lot of pressure on the raider to help his side to cross the final hurdle!
The two sides have met each other on 9 occasions in the PKL history with the Pirates just edging the head to head count with 5 victories as compared to the Panthers’ 4.

Jaipur Pink Panthers: Jasvir Singh was the chief destructor for Jaipur in the semi-final match against Telugu Titans.
