Since the last five matches, Patna Pirates haven't tasted defeat. They've done it all -- from dominating proceedings to grinding out results like they did against Tamil Thalaivas last night. Sixteen games into the season, the Pirates look like a unit well on their way to defend their Pro Kabaddi title for the third time in a row.

The Pirates are no doubt favorites to win today's tie. Playing at home and in fine form, Patna will have to play extremely badly for UP to have any chance of registering a positive result. This match holds much more significance for UP Yoddha.
Failing to win this will surely bring in the other teams into the fray for a playoff spot. The likes of Bengaluru Bulls and Telugu Titans will watch this game eagerly and will hope Patna emerge as winners. This one looks done and dusted even before it starts. Patna will show no mercy.
