Jaipur Pink Panthers will lock horns with Patna Pirates in the 86th match of Pro Kabaddi 2019 at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.
Jaipur’s last match against Haryana went down to the wire as they held them to a tie with the match ending on a 32-32 margin. Deepak Niwas Hooda reclaimed his fine touch as he scored 14 points which also saw him complete 800 PKL career points. His form will be crucial for Jaipur as they look to make their way back into the upper half of the points table.
Nilesh Salunke did well to support Hooda but it was a match to forget for Nitin Rawal as he could not open his account and was way below par.
Jaipur have one of the most talented defenders in the league through Sandeep Dhull, who is just one point away from scoring his 50th tackle point this season. But the inability of his partners to support him has cost Jaipur a few times.
Other than Dhull, the other players could manage only 5 tackle points in the last game and they would be hoping to improve those numbers.

Patna Pirates scored double the points managed by their opponents Tamil Thalaivas in the last match (51-25). The match also marked Pardeep Narwal’s 1000th PKL career point. His monumental effort saw him score 26 raid points and that tells you how good he has been this season.
Yet, barring Pardeep, none of the other players have been able to stand tall. Pardeep scored 26 out of the 28 raid points scored by Patna in the last game that exposed the lack of a support raider for the Patna skipper and if Pardeep fails to deliver, the Pirates could find themselves in a whole lot of trouble.
A big plus point for Patna, however, was the performance of their defenders. Jaideep and Hadi Oshtorak together scored 11 tackle points and were also assisted by Neeraj Kumar.
