Parvesh Bhaiswal kicked off his Pro Kabaddi League career back in season 4 with the Jaipur Pink Panthers. Hardly given chances to prove his worth, he had a poor run, managing to score just three points in seven matches.

Roped in by the Fortunegiants for the fifth season, coach Manpreet Singh backed Bhainswal with a chance to redeem himself, which the cover defender took full advantage of and ended up as the fourth-best defender in PKL season 4.

Just 20 years old, Bhainswal became only the second Indian player to score 48 defense points in the fifth season of the league. This cover defender has scored 137 points in 56 matches, and his back holds have emerged as his trademark move.

With a whole lot of skills such as the back hold and a firm thigh hold, he has stunned many raiders on multiple occasions. Brought back to the squad for PKL 7, the alliance of Bhainswal-Sunil will be key for the Fortune Giants to go all the way this season.
